Sarah Argent - Computer Repair

What 5 megabytes of computer data looked like in 1966: 62,500 punched cards, taking four days to load.

This one is exactly as old as I am!

Needs a little work - the left channel on the record player stage doesn't work. :(

I'm afraid I don't know how to fix this one.

A new restoration project.

Cleaning up a very dirty Sansui 331. I don't think it needs to be recapped but I'm going to take care of the rust and gunk. Clean the pots and switches. It sounds nice but I'm hoping I can also make it look nice again.

Look closely. It's made from recycled materials.

Taking the next week off. Back on the 20th. :)

I've been learning to code in Python!

computer_working = False

while not computer_working:
print("☎️ Calling Sarah...")
computer_working = True

print("💻 Everyone is happy again!")

Happy Monday everyone! I'm available all week. :)

It's honestly one of the most effective troubleshooting steps. :)

Are you getting sick of Windows? The ads, the pop ups. Where are your files actually located? Are they in the cloud? Are they on the computer? Who knows?!

This frustration is real. The path that Microsoft has taken is fraught with customer dissatisfaction. Not to mention a complete lack of privacy.

I can help make sense of some of this confusion, or I can help you switch to something completely different.

Linux Mint is a free, open source operating system that is perfect for browsing the web, checking your email, paying bills and typing documents.

No ads, no pop-ups, no updates breaking your system. No one spying on your activity. Just pure simplicity.
