Since then, Sask Steel has headlined and performed as supporting acts at live music events throughout Saskatchewan.
Saskatoon-based Country/Rock band est. 2021
With members from a rural agricultural upbringing, Sask Steel shows their prairie pride through their music bringing coverband classics, hot new tunes, and original music that will keep you dancing all night! As a Canadian country-rock group, Sask Steel’s debut was at Ag Bag Drag in March of 2022, where they performed as the opening band for country-rock music artists Brody Siebert and Chris Buck for 1,500 students from the University of Saskatchewan. Sask Steel’s most recent performance was at Ag Bag Drag in October of 2022, where they performed alongside award winning CCMA, WCMA, and CMAB award-winning group Nice Horse. Sask Steel is made up of Gavin Fleck (bass/multi-instrumentalist/vocals), Layne Jones (guitar/vocals), Levi Jones (drummer), Alex van Staveren (guitar/vocals) and Evan Zentner (lead singer/acoustic guitar).

What a weekend 🤘
A huge thank you to the Young Fellows Concert Festival for having us play along with some incredible bands, we had a great time!
Then, we played at the Ceylon Park Days cabaret where we met a fuzzy friend on the road… 🐑
Now off to Assiniboia for a Canada Day performance, look forward to it! 🇨🇦

Last weekend Sask Steel was in Radville and Regina! Played some awesome shows and can’t wait to do it again next weekend!
We’re performing at the Young Fellows Concert Festival in Weyburn on June 25th, and again at the Ceylon Park Days cabaret on the 26th. See you there! 🎸🔥

We are super excited to announce our summer schedule! The boys are busy in the fields eager to finish seeding so the fun can begin in June. Stay tuned for more information on our upcoming shows.
