The Sandbox team was proud to visit École Jasper Elementary School in Jasper, AB, to celebrate their selection as a 2026 Communities at Play winner.
Following the devastating wildfires that impacted Jasper in 2024, the school’s playground has become one of the community’s only remaining recreation spaces, making its renewal especially meaningful as Jasper continues to recover and rebuild. The Jasper Elementary School Parents Association is giving the outdoor play space a full refresh, replacing aging equipment with a modern, inclusive playground designed for students, families and the surrounding community.
The new space will include adaptive play structures, accessible surfacing, a basketball area and a gazebo that will support both recreation and outdoor learning. We’re proud to support this project and help create a welcoming place for the Jasper community to play, connect and grow together. 💛

Our team had a great afternoon at the 2026 IBAM-YBN Dale Rempel Memorial Golf Tournament at Quarry Oaks Golf Course. It was a fun day of good golf and plenty of chances to connect with insurance folks from across Manitoba.
Even better, the tournament was held in support of the Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Health Sciences Centre Foundation of Manitoba. We’re always happy to get out, have some fun and support a great cause along the way. Thanks for having us, Insurance Broker Association of Manitoba - IBAM! ⛳

This August, the Sandbox team stopped by St. Anne School in Saskatoon to see the progress on its brand-new wheelchair-accessible playground! 💛
St. Anne was one of the 2025 recipients of Sandbox’s Communities at Play grant, receiving $25,000 to help revitalize its playground and create a more inclusive space for students. 🛝
We also had the opportunity to meet the Hiebert family, whose daughter Makenna inspired the push to make the playground more accessible. The Hieberts were instrumental in fundraising and turning this vision into a reality.
We’re proud to support this incredible project through our Communities at Play program and can’t wait to see it come to life for the students and wider community!
