Team Snow

Unfortunately the ice plant plant the Sutherland Curling Club has had some issues arise, so the SCT this weekend has had some last-minute changes. Our first game will now be early Saturday morning instead of tonight, and all the games will be taking place at the CN Curling Club instead.

Our weekend at the Sutherland SCT #1 will be starting of this Friday at 5:30pm with a game against Team Jacobson! ❄️

Don’t forget that tomorrow is our season opener fundraising event at Montana’s BBQ & Bar (University Heights) from 5:00pm to 11:00pm. Come support our team by having a night out!

This season is starting off at our home rink Sutherland Curling Club for the first Sask Curing Tour event next weekend!

After that, we’ll be at the rest of the SCT events here in Saskatchewan, and heading off to Oshawa, Ontario, right after Christmas for the U21 Canadian Junior Cup! This event will feature last season’s lineup for our junior team (Cole, Dominic, Nathan, and Rogan), and the event champions will have the opportunity to represent Canada in Switzerland for the U21 Junior Cup.

At the start of the new year, we’ll be hoping to have secured a spot at the Tankard, and make a return to 2-Person Stick Curling Provincials at the end of January.

More bonspiels and events tbd…

On September 22 we will be heading to Montanas McOrmond for our season opener fundraiser! A portion of all food purchases from 5:00-11:00pm will be given to our team to help support our 2026/2027 curling season. Please come by and support our curling season by grabbing a meal and saying hello to our team!

Our lineup this season consists of lead Caden Snow, second Brandon Henbury, third Nathan Roy, skip Rogan Snow, and alternate Cole Hilderman. Coaching our team will be Richard Roy.

Our beloved teammate from last season, Dominic Barlow, will be making a return as our U21 second for a special Junior event in our season (schedule coming soon…). Until then, Dominic will be focusing on his U20 career and playing in a men’s league and sparing with our team.

Our Alternate, and fan favourite, Cole Hilderman!

Following in the footsteps of our skip, Cole is also pursuing a degree in Applied Computing at the University of Saskatchewan. This seasons marks Cole’s 10th year in the sport!
