If you're watching someone else run, bike to the event and skip the traffic hassle!
If you're looking to volunteer for the valet (the shifts are fun!), there are a handful of spots left: saskatooncycles.org/bike-valet/
No matter how you're participating in the weekend running, we hope to see you at the valet! π

Thanks, Nuit Blanche Saskatoon! β€οΈ
You've given the city another night of incredible art!
A ring of the bell and a tip of the helmet to all the artists for their craft and to the organizers for putting it all together!
The FUTURE is in good hands!

Tomorrow, the night time is the right time! πππ²π¨
Join us for the Nuit Blanche YXE Glow Roll. Meeting at 7PM at the Five Corners intersection on Broadway.
Be a part of the art! ππ²β¨
Join us on our annual Nuit Blanche YXE "Glow Roll" (casual group ride) tour of Saskatoon's premiere night-time contemporary art festival!
Slap some lights on your bike! Wear some flashy bling! Help make our group a beautiful moving art installation of its own!*
The Glow Roll is a great way to see Nuit Blanche. We'll be stopping at all the projects (or as many as we can fit in), so you can appreciate the artistry while providing a piece of colourful spectacle yourself.
We will muster at the Five Corners intersection (Broadway and 12th) at 7PM.
Route map is here: saskatooncycles.org/linktree
*Bylaw mandated lights are mandatory. Flashy bling is not.

Darin Kinniewess: gone but not forgotten. β€οΈπ²
Killed while riding his bike in 2023, Darin is another reminder of the terrible cost of traffic deaths. Regardless of fault or cause, the loss of every human life leaves a hole in the fabric of us all, and none should be forgotten.
Darin was surrounded by family and community today, the same family and community to which he brought so many smiles.
Saskatoon Cycles acknowledges the programming at FASD Network of Saskatchewan, The Salvation Army in Saskatoon, and The Bridge on 20th that gave Darin room to grow, and sends warmest wishes to his family.

We think Cathy would be proud. β€οΈ
Starting out at the little parklet she helped advocate for, and stopping for delicious homemade soup and cookies along the way, her spirit was evident throughout the 6th Annual Cathy Watts Memorial Slow Roll.
Thanks to everyone who joined us to remember her, and special thanks to Jory for the amazing, hearty food (and Gary for serving it)!

REMINDER: The 6th Annual Cathy Watts Memorial Slow Roll is tomorrow!
Join us in remembering our wonderful past board chair with a casual bike ride and some homemade treats.
The ride departs from d'Lish by Tish Cafe at 5:30PM!
Save the date: Tuesday, September 8, 2026. π
Join us that day for the 6th Annual Cathy Watts Memorial Slow Roll.
Cathy was a tireless cycling advocate and chair/co-chair of Saskatoon Cycles for years. The memory of her energy and passion still offer inspiration when we look at the state of cycling in our city, whether we're progressing or stalled.
We try to honour Cathy's spirit and grit to this day, and always hope that she'd be proud of the work we continue to do: making cycling safer and more accessible to all, every day of the year.
Join us for this memorial ride; we'll gather outside for a 5:30PM departure, and cycle a route that we think Cathy would appreciate.
If you can't make the ride but would like to honour the "happy agitator" and "biking gramma", we take donations all the time.
