Two homes on the same street can have very different radon levels. Foundations, construction, airflow and how a home is used all affect the result. A map can show regional patterns, but only a test can give you your home’s level.

To our home builders, what costing challenges are you experiencing right now? What are you anticipating?
What if housing construction costs in Canada dropped because of the latest US tariffs?
Our Chief Economist, Mathieu Laberge, released new analysis suggesting tariffs on Canadian lumber could leave more wood available in Canada, creating an opportunity to lower homebuilding costs.
Ground-oriented housing, such as detached houses and townhouses, stands to benefit the most.
Increasing the use of Canadian wood products could reduce construction costs by up to 17% in some centres and support about 3.5% more housing starts annually.
