🧡 As organizations prepare for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, thoughtful planning can help create learning that is respectful, supportive and connected to ongoing action.

Before choosing an activity, consider:

• What do we want employees to learn or reflect on?
• How will Indigenous employees be supported?
• Are we relying on Indigenous employees to organize or lead the learning?
• How will this connect to our broader Indigenous inclusion work?
• What will continue after September 30?

Clear intentions can help move workplace activities beyond a single-day observance and toward sustained learning, stronger relationships and accountability.

Meaningful progress on Indigenous inclusion becomes more sustainable when people across an organization learn, reflect and act together.

On October 22, Indigenous Works will bring together professionals from across organizations and sectors for an interactive afternoon of facilitated learning, practical reflection and peer connection.
