Ever wonder why a 1 g v**e doesn’t always count the same as 1 g of flower at checkout?
That’s because Saskatchewan’s 30 g limit is based on dried-cannabis equivalent, not just the physical weight printed on the package.
A few examples:
• 1 g flower = 1 g equivalent
• 1 g v**e/concentrate = 4 g equivalent
• 5 × 0.5 g pre-rolls = 2.5 g equivalent
Different formats can fill that 30 g allowance at very different speeds.
That’s why you might hit the purchase limit sooner than expected, even when the package weights don’t look that high.

CAN YOU TRAVEL WITH CANNABIS IN CANADA?

The short answer is yes, sometimes.

Cannabis may travel with you on certain domestic Canadian trips, provided you remain within legal possession limits and follow the rules at your destination.

Crossing an international border is a completely different story. Cannabis cannot legally cross Canada’s border without specific authorization, even when:

• The package is unopened
• The amount is small
• The product only contains C*D
• Cannabis is legal at your destination
• You are travelling for medical purposes

Domestic flights, Saskatchewan road trips, provincial laws and campground rules each come with their own details too.
