This week is the start of ! 💜
Each October, we celebrate all the remarkable qualities of those living with Rett syndrome. Every day, they prove to us in so many ways that they are far more than just their diagnosis.
This year, we are thrilled to welcome back the initiative to inspire real impacts in the Rett community! This campaign demonstrates that despite the challenges that come with living with a complex condition, those with Rett syndrome can have their bright personalities and strong characters shine through.
If you want to help make real improvements in the lives of Rett families, please connect with us throughout Rett Awareness Month and share our posts to spread the word!
The initiative is supported by Acadia Pharmaceuticals (Canada) Inc.

Positive news for the Rett community and DAYBUE!
We were pleased to learn that Acadia Pharmaceuticals Canada, the manufacturer of DAYBUE, has successfully secured an agreement with a major private insurer to have DAYBUE listed as an eligible treatment under some insurance plans.
This marks the first time that eligible patients in Canada can receive insured access to DAYBUE for Rett Syndrome.
As you likely know, private insurance plans are unique to each employer, so while some plans may provide coverage for DAYBUE, others may not. Access is based on eligibility and individual coverage.
Acadia provides support to navigate these insurance plans through their patient support program, Acadia Connect. Once enrolled in the program, the team can provide patients and caregivers with support to navigate potential coverage for DAYBUE under their specific plan.
We encourage all patients and caregivers interested in trying DAYBUE to speak with their physician to discuss enrolment in the program. For more information, visit https://acadiaconnect.ca/.
For those that are already enrolled in the program, you can expect to receive a call from the program in the coming weeks if your loved one is now eligible.
We are encouraged by this recent development and remain committed to advocating for broader coverage for DAYBUE, under both public and private insurance plans.
Welcome to the Acadia Connect Patient Support Program | Acadia Connect Acadia Connect links HCPs, patients, and families with tools and resources for their treatment journey, providing support at every step.
