I’m a wife, mother, follower of Jesus, and counsellor serving in Saskatchewan. Shift Intuit was born in 2014 and has undergone many stages of growth.
One of the greatest joys of my life is marriage, and I enjoy sharing about my journey to being a humble wife in hopes that it helps others to not make the same mistakes I made. Now there are four of us doing mental health counselling in a holistic way. To practice in a holistic way we combine counselling methods with intuitive abilities. We view the individual as mind, body, and spirit and connected to the creator of all things. We begin each session with prayer and intention. You can learn more about us at www.shiftintuit.net or our podcast Shift Intuit Podcast. All the best to all of you
It's hard to let down our walls, but true faith blossoms when we admit we can't do it alone. Releasing pride, anger, and fear allows God's will to guide us.
Conviction breaks down pride, leading to a humble spirit where the Lord saves us. By prioritizing His will in our marriages, we cultivate the fruits of the Spirit – peace, joy, love, kindness – fostering a merry heart and an authentic smile.

God's call to honor your husband isn't conditional on his behavior. Love is a choice you make, even when feelings make it feel difficult. It's not always easy, but it's your choice.
Proverbs 17:22 tells us a merry heart does good like medicine. Research confirms smiles boost physiology during stress, aiding faster recovery and reducing illness. Even during stressful tasks, a warm smile leads to a lower stress response and quicker return to baseline.
Somewhere between wedding vows and now, my genuine smile vanished, replaced by anxiety. Pride and control had drained my marriage. Thankfully, choosing humility and a merry heart with God brought that smile back. Check out the podcast at: https://thykingdomcounselling.ca/humble-wife-podcast/
Proverbs warns against trusting our own hearts. We've all been led astray by emotions, whether it's about our husband's actions, focus on work, or communication. Comparing these feelings to God's design and our submission to Him reveals where true wisdom lies.
Wives, embrace an open mind to God's divine will within your marriage. Trusting the Creator is the ultimate guide for your marital journey. His wisdom surpasses all.
