It's that time again, when I start the plans for my twins birthday party. And apparently having an event planner for a mother means “keeping it simple” was never really an option.

These are photos from their beach party themed birthday last year. They are turning five, not getting married. But here we are.

Will it be overkill? Probably.
Will the kids remember half of it? Absolutely not.
Will I have the time of my life planning it? 100%.

The best news to start off the month!

This first year has exceeded our expectations in every way. Thank-you for all of your support, clients and friends. It means so much!

The best part about being an event planner? For me it's a 3-part tie between watching a father-daughter dance, hearing how happy my clients are when they take it all in on event day, and seeing a groom's face as his fiance is walking down the aisle. I get to pause for a moment during all of the craziness of the day, and soak in the joy. And after all of these years, it never ever gets old

It was an honour to be a finalist at the in Regina this weekend for Best New Business.

While our business is a newbie, our owner is an events-oldie with 20 years of experience planning events of every size and scale. So much gratitude to be recognized for this in our first year ✨

Time to hang up our heels for a few months and be on the other side of events, with another exciting wedding season ahead.
