The Rude Awakening Tour

Everytime i come to Petawawa i always go for at least one meal here. Trooper Marc Diab was killed in Afghanistan March 8th 2009. A year after his death the restauraunt was opened by his family who moved from Mississauga to fulfill Marc's dream of bringing Shawarmas and other Lebanese dishes to his comrades serving at Garrison Petawawa. His parents, sisters, brothers-in-law, nephews and nieces all moving to fulfill his dream. I found this; https://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-news/he-gave-his-life-for-canada-family-of-fallen-soldier-marc-diab-adopts-petawawa . We love you all.

At The Going Down Of The Sun And In The Morning We Will Remember Him.

Went over to check out Airborne Petawawa - Skydiving Center with my brother Dan . It would be cool to load a plane again from Browns airfield, and jump back here. My Life For You, Airborne!

What happens when Phoenix has a close encounter with a skunk after store hours. I walk in, ask Dan what am i going to do and he contacts Jill McLellan and next thing we are at Pet Shop | END OF THE LEASH getting shampoo, spray, and one for the mouth. Within an hour, Phoenix was in the bath and out. Jill, youre a God send, and Dan thanks for solving a problem , where my mind wasnt there to solve it. Three veterans, one dog, and a mission completed. Love you all.

Thirty one years ago the Canadian Airborne Regiment held a disbandment dinner here in 1 RCR. That was the last time i was in this building. My Life For You, Airborne. Wearing my Operation Pegasus Jump wings on my foreign wings side.

My brother Dan came to pay his respects too. My Life For You, Airborne!

Today we paid our respects to Mike Lisk, who was a mountain of a man judging by all in attendance (600-700 easy). Much respect to a man loved by all!

At The Going Down Of The Sun And In The Morning We Will Remember Him!

I went over to visit Dan and we brought out "Journey" the Sound of Remembrance guitar. Got pictures with Dan , Johnny Alvarez and Mathew Belear.

Accomodations tonight are so much better than last night. We slept in the truck last night, my legs were over the counsel until 4am than i got to go to sleep. Go up at 7am went for a walk in dog park . Loads of room tonight.

So many missions involved the use of Mefloquine/Lariam, and a lot of issues have arisen from that use. Thank you all for your service to our country.
