We’re so excited to welcome Shayla to the Neoma Wellness board as our new Marketing Lead! 🩵

Shayla is a banking professional, girls’ volleyball and softball coach, creative thinker, and community-minded human who has always had a passion for making things happen.
She believes in the power of genuine relationships, having people in your corner, and creating spaces where women feel welcomed, supported, and never alone.

We’re so excited to have her creativity, enthusiasm, and big ideas on the team as we continue to grow Neoma and share our story with more women across Saskatchewan.

What’s a little Practical Magic without some tarot? We’re so excited to have Paige of Connected by Paige and Brittany Chyz joining us for Margaritas, Movies & Magic!

These two incredible women each bring their own unique relationship with tarot, intuition and all things metaphysical, and we can’t wait for you to connect with them.

🌙 Paige — Connected by Paige
Paige has been working with the energy of tarot for more than five years and began reading for others in 2025. Through her own journey, she discovered how tarot could help her trust her intuition and better understand what life was teaching her.

Today, Paige’s readings are about helping others connect with themselves, their emotions and their own intuition. Whether you’re looking for a little guidance, a different perspective, or simply want to have some fun with the cards, Paige believes there’s always something to discover.

🌙 Brittany Chyz
Brittany’s spiritual journey began when she was a child, always feeling deeply connected to her intuition and the energy around her. Over the past seven years, she has explored and studied tarot, developing a deeper understanding of the cards as a tool for reflection, guidance and connection.
Her curiosity for the metaphysical world has continued to grow through a podcast she hosts with her sister, where they explore anything and everything metaphysical, learning, questioning and following their intuition along the way.

Some seasons of life don't get quieter. We just learn how to meet them differently. 🌙

Before we introduce you to Jessica Janzen, we have to share a little piece of our history with her. Jess was our very first keynote speaker at Evoke. 🩵

From the very beginning, her message of resilience, joy, and choosing to build forward embodied so much of what we hoped Evoke would become. And we couldn't be more excited to continue sharing her voice with our community.

Jessica is an author, philanthropist, and powerhouse speaker whose story of loss, resilience, and choosing to build forward has touched people across the country. Through her work with Love for Lewiston, she helped raise more than $3.5 million and played a role in helping make newborn screening for SMA available across Canada.

But what makes Jessica's message so powerful is what she does with that experience. She reminds us that joy isn't something we have to wait for until life gets easier. It's something we can intentionally make space for, even in the hard seasons.

In her latest blog for Neoma, Jessica asks us to consider:
✨ What if we stopped waiting for life to calm down?
✨ What if we focused on expanding our capacity instead?
✨ What if asking for help was part of building that capacity, not a sign that we're failing?

Her message is a beautiful reminder that we can hold two truths at once: This is hard. And this is good.

As fall brings full calendars, new routines, and a thousand things competing for our attention, this is a message many of us may need.

We’re looking for a creative, organized and passionate Marketing Lead to join our volunteer team and take ownership of Neoma’s marketing and communications.

This is more than just making the occasional post. We’re looking for someone who wants to help build the vision, bring ideas to life and create a consistent voice for Neoma.

You’ll help lead things like:
Social media + content planning
Campaigns + creative marketing
Promoting events, fundraisers + programs
Sharing Neoma’s mission and impact
Helping grow our community + reach more women

We’re intentionally building Neoma with clearer roles, shared responsibility and people in the right seats, so our team can actually enjoy contributing without everything falling on the same few people.

You don’t need to be a professional marketer. You just need to be creative, willing to learn, reliable, willing to take ownership and excited about what we’re building.
