Shellbrook Royal Purple #388 is collecting donations for Purple Thursday and the Canadian Royal Purple. On the third Thursday in October, Purple Thursday, members will deliver over 5000 care bags to Women's shelters across Canada. The bags represent caring about the losses women, children and men face when they make the difficult choice to end the cycle of violence.

We have a donation bin at the front office at W.P. Sandin High School and will gladly accept donations from our staff, students and families to help the Shellbrook Royal Purple #388. We have been fortunate to receive donations from this group so it's our turn to help them!
Donations will be accepted until October 7th.

Edited to add that products must be new and not used

🏒🖤 HONESTLY… WE ARE SPEECHLESS. 🖤🏒

This community has shown us once again just how incredible it truly is. The love, generosity and support that has poured out for Brooklyn Anderson and her family has left us completely humbled. ❤️

What started as a night for our Elks family to come together, honour Brooklyn and show her family that they are surrounded by love has grown into something so much bigger.

Our 50/50 is now GUARANTEED at an incredible $3,500, with ALL MONEY RAISED going directly to the Brooklyn Anderson Fund. 🖤

We simply cannot thank the businesses who stepped up and made this possible enough:

🖤 Broston Enterprise
🖤 TLM Financial Services
🖤 Arnie’s Grill
🖤 Shellbrook Motel
🖤 JRT Excavating
🖤 Herst Ag Services
🖤 Parkland Meats
🖤 Adam Brad Welding LTD

Your generosity is helping us turn a night of heartbreak into a night of love, community and support.

And to every single person and business who has donated, shared a post, sent a message, put on an Elks or Oilers jersey, shown up at the rink, or simply stood beside Brooklyn’s family — THANK YOU. 🫶

Friday, we come together.

🏒 Parkland Elks U18AA vs. Northwest Stars
⏰ 8:00 PM Puck Drop
🖤 Wear your Elks or Oilers jersey

Let’s fill that rink. Let’s cheer loud. Let’s show Brooklyn’s family exactly what this community is made of.

One team. One community. One family.

Forever 16. Forever an Elk. 🖤🏒

This one’s for Brookie 🖤

For Brooklyn ❤️
