Alex Barnard is bringing something a little different to SLT this September with Sartre's black comedy No Exit and she is looking for a cast that is up to the challenge!

No Exit director Alex Barnard tells myFM the “very black comedy” by Jean-Paul Sartre, on stage at SLT this September, is “like a dance” between a trio of damned souls who gradually come to realize they are each other’s torturers.

“All of the characters repulse the other two but attract them in equal measure,” Barnard said.

Barnard has been working on this passion project for years and invites performers interested in “something a little meatier” to audition for No Exit on June 29 from 6:30pm to 9pmat SLT.

Dave Kent lives for theatre! He began as a child actor at SLT, then went on to work in a variety of capacities at YTP, LFT, Old Town Hall, Theatre Norfolk and many other organizations. Dave is completely devoted to Norfolk County, assisting Lions Clubs and the Fair Grounds committees for many years. We are so fortunate that Dave has been at the helm of our 80th Anniversary production. He has spent countless hours preparing to make this trip down memory lane a remarkable event. Thank You, Dave, for all you do and sharing your talents with the Norfolk community yet again!
