SimcoeDHumane Volunteers will be at the concession tonight with Hamurgers, HotDogs, Chicken Burgers, Chicken Strips, French Fries and Nachos served up to the start of the main games.
Coffee, Tea, Pop, Popcorn, Chips, Chocolate Bars will be available until the end of 2nd Intermission.

OOOOPS! We missed it! We missed International Cat Day on August 8th.
But between settling our 7 Frank puppies into foster and foster2adopt homes, looking after the newest litter of pups (you will meet them tomorrow), dealiing with 18 new cats and kittens not including our 4 emergencies over the start of the weekend, and 12 calls directing people to other organizations such as Animal Welfare Services, Animals Control/Services in different jurisdictions, Wildlife Services .... Phew! We just missed it!

So to all our Feline loving friends ... our apologies!

Tomorrow is Ronda's 1st big treatment for heartworm.
Special thank you to our volunteer dog walkers openine their hearts and giving a few minutes everyday to make sure our dogs and puppies get their lovins, walks (however short they are) and a few cuddles in between.
It's hard keeping a dog calm, in cage rest during the treatment, walks enough to do bathroom duties, and cuddles just enough not to get the girl excited.
Please keep Rhonda (and our others going through treatment) in your thoughts and prayers over the next few weeks.

We really need your help!! Not only do we need your donations but we need your foster help with Rhonda. We need her in a calm and caring environment. The shelter is not an optimum place for a dog going through Heartworm treatment.
We can tell you Rhonda is full of LOVE, full of KISSES, and of course full of energy which we need to curb a little.

🐶✨ We had so much fun last week... we're doing it again!

After an incredible first Puppy Yoga event, we're teaming up once again with the Simcoe & District Humane Society at Hounds Of Erie Winery for another morning of movement, puppy cuddles, and plenty of smiles.

This is a gentle, all-levels yoga class—but let's be honest... there's usually more puppy cuddles than yoga happening. 🐾❤️

Whether you're coming to stretch, de-stress, laugh, or just soak up all the puppy love, this class is for you. Plus, you'll be supporting the amazing work of the Simcoe & District Humane Society while getting to meet some adorable rescue pups.

Welcome to Frank... Babies.
These 7 babes found their way into the care of SimcoeDHumane when the owner had a surprise delivery after taking on a "gifted dog".
We don't know what dad was but mom is a smaller German Shepherd mix.

Puppies and SimcoeDHumane volunteers had a wonderful time at .of.erie.winery with . Although the puppies that were supposed to be there were already adopted, a couple of pups were available to show their cuddles and great personalities.

Thanks to staff and volunteers with who helped find our pups their new furever families!

It takes a village and our village certainly helped with everything from intake, to vet care, to fostering, to walking to adoption.

We are blessed and we are grateful!
