Bulkley Valley R&G Club

Please share and pass on. You must be a member or attending a club event to use the fi***rm ranges. We are having people on video who are accessing the ranges that are not members. With the current insurance and government rules this puts the club at risk of being shut down or worse. Please don’t put the club or our 360+ members in that position. 😊 you can get your membership at www.bvrg.ca. It’s supports your local club, wildlife conservation and all fi***rm owners. Thank you for your understanding and support.

A local Telkwa couple Luke and Lindsey recently built an app called BetterFish to make it easier for anglers to navigate the complicated fishing regulations here in BC. "With the BetterFish app you can tap on a lake, river, or tidal area and instantly see that water’s seasons, limits, gear rules, and closures — all available offline.
We check the BC in-season orders and DFO fishery notices every day to keep the information as current as possible. Among other things, we’ve also included a fish ID tool, species-specific tactics and gear recommendations, salmon run data, river water-level readings, and map layers for stocked lakes, hatcheries, campgrounds, boat launches, and private land. Our hope is that by making it easier to understand the regulations, folks will be better able to take advantage of all the fishing opportunities here in the northwest."
As always the official regs are the final say but this has huge potential to make life much easier!
