With the new mod update coming friday I just wanted to post a newly recorded version of "How To Install FDR Logging Mods"

After every update I usually get a swarm of emails asking how to install or how to update the mods, this is all covered in this very short video.

Big thank you to Emmett Layman for doing a conversion of the FDR map Legion Hills, I have optimized it and made it ready for release and it will be included in the next 15.0 update which will be coming out on sept 25th

Just wanted to share this quick update with everyone which is awesome news for players that use base game machines or other non FDR mods!

I have managed to find a way to reduce the log weights back to similar stock base game weights but also keep them feeling almost the same if not even better than than the current heavy ones.

My FDR machines themselves are still a bit heavier than base game machines but have been dropped by about 50% weight, Below is a chart for comparison of the actual weights from the XML file.

(STOCK GIANTS WEIGHTS)

34,000 lbs

(OLD WEIGHTS FROM 14.0)
FDR Logging Tracked Machines
100,000 lbs

(NEW WEIGHTS COMING IN 15.0)
FDR Logging Tracked Machines
50,000 lbs

With this change you will find the logs and machines are much more compatible with the in game logs and machines, as well as other mods outside of the FDR community.

I also did this little video to show off my incredible breakthrough with the grapple to log reactions of the new physics, i'm so stoked for you all to try this out!
