RPM Custom Repair

Swapping out a 5.3L Vortec engine that did its owner proud. Engines out of a 2001 GMC Sierra and this is the first time they’ve had to do any major engine related work to it. Replacement was the best option as the engine was ran with a head gasket leak that ended up causing low oil pressure and an audible lifter tick. Swapped out and ready for another 25 years of service.

Another interesting ride in the shop. 1988 Pontiac Fire Bird Trans Am, this one was in for some shifter work and other miscellaneous repairs. Working in the console of this old bird was an exercise in patience, something about 38 year old plastic coming apart keeps a guy on his toes.

New set of tracks for this Bobcat T650 today. Old ones seen some revolutions in their day.

Not everyday you see one of these in the flesh anymore, Honda S2000 in excellent condition.

Complete Engine rotating assembly failure on this Ford V10 6.8 2 valve Triton engine. Pulling this big old gasser out of an Econoline chassis sure makes for tight work.
