Generations Church

Sunday was Level Up Sunday for Kids Church! We had a cake party and celebrated their levelling up a grade with cake and cupcakes!

A huge thank you to all the volunteer bakers that put so many smiles on the kids faces!

Kids learned that Jesus loves and blesses the children found in Mark 10.

We begun a new series called “Anything is possible” where all signs are pointing to Jesus and he is calling your name!

This is kick off Sunday and we are so excited to have everyone in the house this Sunday!

We are kick starting a brand new series called “Anything is Possible” - When we put our trust into the miracle maker! So come ready for a whole new season!

We are “levelling up” students in Gen Kids for those in Grade K-5 and we are having a Cake Party!

Gen Group sign ups are on there way! Make sure to sign up for the Fall Groups this Sunday!

This Sunday is the start of great things!

Gods timing is always perfect - even when we ask “When God…” Pastor Cait has a Word to share on the timing of the Lord and what that means for you and me!

Sign ups are happening at the back of the Auditorium this Sunday for Fall Gen Groups! Join a small group this season!

We are welcoming all those entering kindergarten for the first time to join us in the grade K-5 room after worship! We can’t wait to see you!
Next week (Sept 13) we will be having a cake party!

Families - remember to check in your children using the Kids Check in kiosk in the Lobby before Church starts.

We will be outside and all those entering grade 6 are invited to come out!
Kick off for Gen Youth for regular days will begin Tuesday, September 15th.

All those entering grade 6 - you are invited!

BBQ’s are better with your friends so get the word out.

UPDATE:
Currently there is no power and unfortunately we will not be having service.

But this is what we will be doing.

We are going to be the Church and be on mission this afternoon.

Everyone who will be participating in serving the community for Adopt a Block please arrive at 12:45pm. (Eat before you come & we cannot guarantee that we will have operational washrooms if the power is out)

The team will meet, pray and go out!
Prepare your hearts and mind this morning in prayer and let’s serve & love our neighbours this afternoon.

This Wednesday we will have our Mid Week service at 7pm and we look forward to a seeing you all there.

Currently Generations Church has no power and the suggested time for power to come back on won’t be until the afternoon.

With this we have to make some hard decisions. We thank you for your patience in this matter.

Here is what we are planning:
1. If power comes on before 10am Church will be on.
2. If power does not come back on we unfortunately won’t be having service this morning.

This Wednesday we have Mid Week Service at 7pm. We look forward to seeing you there!

Adopt a Block
We will still meet at the church at 1pm to assemble and head out to serve the community.

Sunday is a big day!
A message prepared based on “Jesus is grace” and its launch day of “Adopt a Block!”

We know we are called to love our neighbours - so Sunday afternoon a group of us are headed downtown to offer lawn care & yard clean ups. Watch for the team of blue shirts!

After church from 1-4pm we will be serving our neighbours. Be sure to pack a lunch, bring work gloves, yard tools, and good walking shoes.

We are still looking for: pasta sauce, pasta, and canned green/ yellow beans. Please drop off at the bin in the Lobby.

Sunday is going to be a great day! See you at Church!
