You don’t have to wait until something hurts to take care of yourself.

One of the things I love most about Chinese Medicine is its long history of looking at health through a preventative lens — supporting the body before small imbalances become bigger problems.

Monthly acupuncture can be a way to pause, check in with your body, and give it some support before you reach the point of, “Okay… something is definitely wrong.” 😅

Think of it as digging the well before you’re thirsty.

You don’t maintain your health because something is broken.
You maintain it because you want to keep feeling well.

Women’s health has always felt deeply meaningful to me. I wanted to create a space where women feel heard, supported and empowered to better understand their bodies.

There’s so much wisdom in the way our bodies communicate with us — through our cycles, hormones, energy, digestion, sleep and so much more.

My approach blends the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern understanding of the body, while honouring that every woman’s experience is different.

Because women deserve support through every season.

Getting to be a small part of that journey is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do. 🌿

I have been seeing SO many labour-prep patients lately, and it's been such a beautiful reminder of how much intentions can go into those final weeks before baby arrives.

Acupuncture can be a wonderful addition to your birth prep routine, with treatments often beginning around 36-37 weeks to support the body as it naturally prepares for labour.

Lbour-prep isn't about forcing labour or guaranteeing a specific outcome, it's about your overall well-being as you get closer to meeting your little one.

And honestly, I think one of the best parts is simply having a space to slow down, breathe, and connect with your body during such a big transition ❤️

One of my favourite parts of what I do is hearing how my patients are feeling after their treatments.

Whether it's less pain, better sleep, improved digestion, or simply feeling more like themselves again, every story reminds me why I love this work.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to leave a review. Your kind words mean so much to me, and they help others feel more confident taking that first step towards trying acupuncture.

🌿 I'm baaaack! 🌿

After an incredible trip—including the breathtaking Hoh Rainforest—I'm back in the clinic feeling refreshed, recharged, and so excited to see everyone again.

One of the biggest takeaways from my time away was the reminder that slowing down isn't a luxury—it's a necessity.

Walking through the rainforest, surrounded by towering trees and the quiet of nature, reminded me how restorative it can be to simply pause. To breathe a little deeper. To step away from the constant busyness and give your body and mind the chance to renew.

In Chinese Medicine, we believe true health comes from balance. Rest and recovery are just as important as productivity, and making time to replenish yourself helps your body function the way it was designed to.

As much as I loved unplugging for a few days, I'm grateful to be back doing what I love—helping you feel your best.

If you've been running on empty, feeling stressed, dealing with pain, or just know it's time for a reset, I'd love to help. Sometimes the best thing we can do for ourselves is give our bodies the space to heal.

I can't wait to see some familiar faces back in the clinic soon! 💚

Your period has a story to tell. 🌸

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we don't just ask if your period comes every month—we ask how it shows up.

✨ Is it painful?
✨ Is the flow heavy or very light?
✨ Do you have clots?
✨ How's your mood beforehand?
✨ Are you exhausted afterward?

These details help us understand how your body is functioning as a whole.

Rather than treating everyone with the same symptoms the same way, TCM looks for the underlying pattern. Two people with painful periods, for example, may have completely different root causes and therefore receive different treatments.

Acupuncture works by supporting your body's natural balance and is commonly used to help with menstrual pain, PMS, irregular cycles, and other women's health concerns as part of a comprehensive care plan.

💛 Your cycle doesn't have to be perfect—but it can offer valuable insight into your overall health.

Not every patient asks a million questions... 🐶✨

A little Yintang for my four-legged assistant. Known as the "calm point," it's one of my favorite acupuncture points for promoting relaxation and helping settle a busy mind (or an excited tail).

No treats were withheld, no dignity was permanently damaged, and she was rewarded with plenty of cuddles afterward. 💛

If these walls could talk, they'd tell hundreds of stories.

Stories of people who came in exhausted, overwhelmed, in pain, frustrated with their bodies, or simply wanting to feel better.

They'd talk about the quiet moments that don't always seem significant until you realize they're life-changing:

Waking up without back pain.
Getting through a workday without a headache.
Having the energy to play with your kids.
Feeling calmer in a stressful season.
Trusting your body again.

One of my favourite things about being an acupuncturist is that I get a front-row seat to these transformations. They aren't always dramatic, but they're meaningful.

Every treatment is a reminder that healing isn't always about fixing something overnight. Sometimes it's about creating the right conditions for your body to do what it's designed to do.

Fertility prep isn’t only for people struggling to conceive 🌿

One of the things I love about Traditional Chinese Medicine is how much emphasis it places on preparation and prevention. Ancient Chinese medical texts often spoke about supporting the body before pregnancy — nourishing Blood, regulating Qi, calming the nervous system, and creating a healthy foundation for conception.

In a world where so many of us are stressed, exhausted, under-rested, and disconnected from our bodies, I think there’s something really beautiful about slowing down and supporting yourself proactively.

This is why acupuncture can be used by anyone trying to conceive 🤍

Not because something is “wrong,” but because preparation is care.
