Join us Friday night as we celebrate the start of the 2026–27 regular season and our 18th year of junior hockey in Strathmore!

The pregame tailgate party starts at 6:00 PM with fresh Baldwin BBQ, ice-cold Origin b**r and great live music. Then, the Kings take on the HJHL’s newest franchise, the Rimbey Royals, at 7:45 PM.

The Kings Lounge will also be open with game-day food specials all night long.

Tickets are $10 at the door, with students and seniors getting in for half price.

It’s our final home preseason game tonight — and admission is FREE.

The Agra Risk Wheatland Kings are proud to announce the re-signing of 2007-born Siksika Nation forward Emery Medicine Shield.

After joining the Kings late last season, Emery made an immediate impact with 11 points in just 14 games. With a full season ahead, he’s poised to be a major offensive contributor for the Kings in 2026–27.

September 25. 6:00 PM. The annual Home Opener Tailgate Party takes over the Strathmore Family Centre with cold Origin b**r, sizzling Baldwin BBQ and incredible live music—all just hours before the puck drops on another extraordinary season of junior hockey.

The tailgate is FREE to attend.

Then, it’s game time. Tickets are $10 at the door and half-price for seniors and students.
