Railside Flowers

RailSide Flowers is the culmination of three generations of love, passion and commitment to floristry. We grow beautiful niche cut flowers such as Alstroemeria and cut hydrangeas - right here in South West Ontario. In a world of short-cuts and mass-production we remain committed to sustainability and environmental care when it comes to growing our flowers. The integrity of our processes are as important to us as the quality of our products. We focus on limiting our use of pesticides through an integrated pest management program. Basically, we keep a close eye on the pests in our greenhouse and control them by introducing bugs to the environment who will seek out pests and kill them. We also use a natural gas generator to create our own electricity and all our flowers are delivered in biodegradable plastic sleeves. We believe the long-term success and integrity of our family company rests on a responsible and sustainable relationship with the environment. We want to model this to our children, our employees and our customers. As well as grow breathtakingly beautiful flowers.
