Hedy Hope Hand Hooked Rugs

I have been working away on this rug. Have a lot more hooking to do…

Lake Home. 10" x 13.5" framed. Who wouldn't want a cute little home by the lake. Note, it's not in the flood zone!

I was working on this little fellow prior to being evacuated due to wildfires. Now, to get to finishing and framing…Motivation, where are you?

When I learned to hook, this was my original sampler to practise. Made with strips from my old cashmere sweaters and jersey strips from my t-shirts as well as other bits and pieces.

My creations, Tuesday, at Summerland’ market. Oops, messy, unaltered shot.

It's cherry season! I took a little artistic license on the tree. Heck, why not? Cherry Tree by the Lake. 11" x 14"

Zooming in on my current piece of art. One hooked stitch at a time!

When I’m not hooking rugs, I like to hike. This photo is courtesy of my friend, Charley. BTW, I am not texting, just checking out a photo I’d just taken of the breathtaking Okanagan scenery.

Freedom! I just finished this little fellow. Running Free. 11" x 17", framed.

Yippie!!! 😀It's done! Almost! Finishing, hand sewing.... Let it Grow, 28" x 32" original hand hooked rug. Wool & silk on linen backing. As of this afternoon, it‘s officially completed.
