Now on to John’s super cool 1973 touring camper converted in Haney by Dorper Mfg. Another one all the way from the island for me do some work on it.
Never seen one before must be pretty rare. No bet up to just storage and standing height.
This job is a bit of a different job should be an interesting one.

Helping a friend with a quick lil refresh nothing fancy but much more pleasant and comfortable inside. Wanted to help get him and his wife out enjoying there lil bug! It was just going to be too far out of budget to do a full headliner and repair everything. so I told him leave it with me and I’ll see what I can do. I ended up doing a cleanup and dying the headliner and visors etc. replacing a bit of vinyl, swapping out the door cards and rebuilding the front seats and refitting the covers a bit better. I added seat heaters to make it more comfortable and there so heath issues that this will really help with especially as the Beetle doesn’t have any heat. Happy trails! enjoy hopefully it’s a bit more pleasant and enjoyable where cruising in the beetle. See you out there🤙
