Dry docking an oil rig is a little more involved than simply getting it out of the water.

It takes:
• Heavy jacking and controlled load transfer
• Engineered shoring and support
• Careful positioning and load management

A good example of the planning, equipment and experience required for complex dry-docking operations.

Not every heavy-lift or transport challenge has an off-the-shelf answer.

For this custom fabrication project, our team took the work from raw steel and fit-up through fabrication and finishing to create a purpose-built frame for a specific application.

That in-house capability helps GRT develop practical solutions when standard equipment is not the right fit bringing fabrication, rigging knowledge and project requirements together from the outset.
