Two 2021 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcats in the shop, both here for custom-spec 4-wheel alignments.

On one side, a white Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody. On the other, a black 2021 SRT Charger. Two completely different looks, same kind of attitude, and more than enough horsepower to make proper alignment numbers matter.

With vehicles like these, alignment isn’t just about getting everything “into the green.” Our custom-spec alignments are set up around the vehicle, its modifications, tire setup, ride height, and how the owner actually intends to drive it. Proper camber, caster, and toe settings can make a huge difference in steering response, straight-line stability, tire wear, and how confidently the car puts its power to the pavement.

White and black. Redeye and SRT. Yin & Yang, if you will.

Both dialed in and ready to hit the road.

For factory, modified, performance, street, or track alignment setups, contact Dale’s Auto Service and get your vehicle properly set up.

1987 Nissan Sentra XE

This classic Sentra came into the shop with an electrical concern, so we started by diagnosing the vehicle for a parasitic draw.

After testing the system and tracing the source of the draw, we verified that the EGR vacuum solenoid was shorting internally. The faulty solenoid was replaced, eliminating the electrical issue and helping ensure the battery is no longer being unnecessarily drained while the vehicle is parked.

While the Sentra was with us, we also took care of a few additional items to help keep this nearly 40-year-old Nissan safe and road-ready.

Parasitic draw diagnosis
Faulty EGR vacuum solenoid located and replaced
Replacement lug nuts installed
Steering rack bellows boots replaced
Left front CV axle boot replaced
Right front CV axle boot replaced
Finished with a precision 4-wheel alignment

With the electrical issue repaired, the steering and axle components taken care of, and the alignment dialed back in, this Sentra is ready to head home and keep putting in the miles.

Need help tracking down an electrical issue, steering concern, suspension problem, or alignment issue? Dale’s Auto Service has the diagnostic equipment and experience to get to the source of the problem and get your vehicle back on the road properly.

This Z32 came through the shop for a major suspension overhaul, with the goal of tightening up the chassis, adding proper adjustability, and giving us the control needed to dial the alignment in correctly. On a car like the 300ZX Twin Turbo, especially one running upgraded suspension components, getting the geometry right matters just as much as installing the parts themselves.

We installed:
• Front upper control arms
• Rear upper control arms
• Adjustable tension rods
• Adjustable rear traction arms
• SPL HICAS delete kit
• SPL eccentric lockout kit

The HICAS delete removes the factory rear-wheel steering system, simplifying the rear suspension and giving a much more consistent, predictable setup. The adjustable arms and tension rods then allow us to properly fine-tune camber, caster and rear suspension geometry instead of being stuck within the limited factory adjustment range.

Once everything was installed, the 300ZX went onto the alignment rack for a complete 4-wheel alignment. With this many adjustable components, the final alignment is a critical part of the job. Every adjustment works together to make sure the car tracks properly, maintains good tire contact and feels stable and responsive behind the wheel.

A proper suspension setup is more than bolting parts onto the car. Installation, geometry and alignment all need to work together, especially on a chassis like the Z32.

This Mustang GT came into the shop for a complete clutch system upgrade, giving the drivetrain a much stronger and more responsive setup while taking care of several important wear items at the same time.

We installed a McLeod Super Street Pro clutch kit paired with a McLeod aluminum flywheel. The Super Street Pro setup is designed to provide increased holding capacity for higher-performance applications while still maintaining manageable street drivability.

To complete the installation properly, we also installed an ARP Modular 11-inch pressure plate bolt kit, providing high-strength hardware where it matters most. A new McLeod ball stud was installed for the cable linkage to help maintain proper clutch fork geometry and smooth engagement.

While the transmission was removed, we also replaced the rear main seal and input shaft seal. Taking care of these seals during a clutch replacement is an important preventative step, especially on an older performance vehicle, since access is significantly easier while everything is already apart.

With the new McLeod clutch, lightweight aluminum flywheel, upgraded hardware and fresh seals installed, this Mustang is now set up with a stronger and more dependable clutch system ready for plenty more miles.

This 2003 Porsche Boxster S came through the shop for a full comprehensive 65-point inspection.

With a vehicle like this, a proper inspection goes far beyond a quick look underneath. Our technicians work through the major systems of the vehicle, checking the steering and suspension, brakes, tires, fluid condition and levels, visible leaks, belts and hoses, underbody components, lighting, battery condition and other key mechanical and safety-related areas.

A comprehensive inspection is especially valuable on an older performance vehicle, helping identify worn components, developing concerns and upcoming maintenance before they turn into larger repairs.

Whether you’ve recently purchased a vehicle, are getting it ready for the season, or simply want a better understanding of its overall condition, our 65-point inspection gives you a detailed look at what your vehicle needs now and what should be planned for down the road.

MEET JEFF, OUR HEAD ALIGNMENT TECHNICIAN🪛

When it comes to wheel alignments at Dale’s Auto Service, Jeff brings 25 years of experience, knowledge, and attention to detail.

An alignment is about more than simply getting the numbers into the green. Steering and suspension components, ride height, modifications, tire wear, and the vehicle’s intended use all play a role in setting it up properly.

From daily drivers and lifted trucks to classics, performance builds, and custom street or track vehicles, Jeff knows how to approach each alignment based on what the vehicle actually needs.

Whether we’re correcting tire wear, improving handling, straightening a steering wheel, or creating a custom setup, every adjustment has a purpose.

The equipment provides the measurements. Jeff’s experience determines what they mean and how to get the vehicle performing at its best.

2020 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 in the shop for a custom-spec 4-wheel alignment built around both street driving and track use.

With a car as capable as the ZL1, alignment settings can make a huge difference in how the vehicle feels, especially when you’re trying to balance everyday drivability with sharper response and stability when the car gets pushed harder. Rather than simply setting everything to basic factory specifications and sending it out the door, we dialed this Camaro in with a custom alignment setup suited to how the vehicle is actually being driven.

For street use, the goal is to maintain predictable handling, stability and reasonable tire wear. For track use, we can adjust the alignment characteristics to improve turn-in, cornering grip and overall confidence at higher speeds. Finding the right balance between the two is where a properly performed custom alignment really matters.

Every alignment we perform is measured and adjusted carefully, taking the vehicle setup, suspension, tires and intended use into consideration.

Whether your car is completely stock, lowered, modified or regularly sees track time, we can build an alignment setup around your specific needs.

This 1992 JDM Toyota Soarer came back into the shop for a ride height adjustment.

On its previous visit, we installed a new set of wheels and tires, and this time around the goal was to get the suspension height properly dialed in to suit the new setup.

Ride height plays a big role in more than just appearance. On a modified vehicle like this, the height needs to work with the wheel and tire combination while maintaining proper clearance, suspension travel, drivability, and overall balance.

Our team carefully adjusted the suspension to bring the Soarer to the desired height and clean up the overall stance, giving the new wheel and tire setup a much more finished look.

These older JDM cars have a ton of character, and it’s always cool seeing a Toyota Soarer come back through the shop as the build continues to evolve.

If your modified vehicle needs wheels and tires, suspension adjustments, ride height setup, or a precision 4-wheel alignment, give our team a call and get it booked in.
