The reality:

Not every open space is automatically a tent-friendly space. Before we set up, there are several things we need to consider:

Ground conditions: Is the ground level, stable, and suitable for staking?
Underground utilities: We need to know what’s below the surface before stakes go into the ground.
Overhead clearance: Trees, power lines, buildings, and other structures can affect where a tent can safely go.
Access: Our trucks and equipment need enough room to get to the setup location.
Space around the tent: We need room for stakes, guy lines, entrances, and safe movement around the structure.
Tent size: The available space needs to accommodate the tent and everything around it—not just the footprint of the tent.
Weather & exposure: The location can affect how the tent handles wind, rain, and other weather conditions.
What’s going inside: A 40×60 tent might physically fit, but once you add tables, chairs, a dance floor, buffet, bar, or DJ, you may need a different layout or size.

The takeaway:
An empty space doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the right space for a tent. ⛺

That’s why site planning is an important part of the rental process—we want to make sure the tent works for both the space and your event.
