TEMP FOSTER NEEDED

We are in desperate need of a temp foster by Monday October 5th for this sweet little momma and her babies. They will be flying in from a northern community and we are full to the rafters with animals right now. She was supposed to fly in a few weeks ago but took off and had her babies under a building. Momma was spotted lots but it took awhile to find where she had her pups.
They will be heading to Winnipeg once a foster is committed there
Foster must be in Thompson area.
Please if you can help send us a message
We supply everything you will need.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Mom and pups must stay together pups are too young to be separated

Thank you Hull's Haven Border Collie Rescue for this beautiful post.
I( Vicki) only got to work with Lily a couple times through Spirit of Hope Rescue and I'll be forever grateful for the opportunity to have met this amazing human. The rescue world has definitely lost another angel that lived among us. This week we are in the midst of another clinic with Dr Peter Iskander. I feel it only appropriate we dedicate this clinic in Lily Lyn's memory. Our rescue will sponsor 2 spays and 2 neuters in her name.
Rest easy Lily we all know you are flying high with the angels ❤️❤️❤️

Lily was the definition of selflessness. She had an incredible gift for seeing those who needed help—whether they had two legs or four—and she never hesitated to step in. She gave so freely of her time, her heart, and her kindness, always putting others before herself.
Her love for animals and people touched countless lives. She brought comfort where there was pain, hope where there was uncertainty, and kindness wherever she went. She never needed recognition for the things she did; helping others was simply who she was.
The mark Lily leaves on this world is one filled with love, positivity, compassion, and hope. Her legacy lives on in every life she touched, every animal she helped, and every person who was inspired by her generosity.
Although her loss leaves an enormous emptiness, we can honour Lily by carrying forward the kindness she showed so effortlessly—by helping when we can, loving deeply, and choosing hope.
Rest peacefully, Lily. Your beautiful heart made this world a better place, and your light will continue to shine through all the lives you touched. ❤️🐾

Hey all, with winter coming we would love to have raised bed for all our kennels extra on hand for the play spaces. Concrete is very cold even when laying on a thick blankets. We have 10 kennels and at any given time we could have up to 6 dogs in each play space at times. That being said we had one of these kids cots donated at one point and it worked great, so we found them in a pack of 6 on Amazon so if anyone would like to give back to the pets in need these would be great to have a few 6 packs on hand. We will also share our every day essential wish list in the comments, if you would like to help in other ways also.

FYI
To all our amazing outlying communities that we constantly take in dogs from and people of Thompson. We will now be on an absolute intake freeze until December. Vicki our intake coordinator/ approval/ and owner is going for knee replacement surgery on October 19th and we will be at a stand still for intake until she returns 6 weeks later.
We are starting this intake freeze now as we know leading up to her time away there will be constant requests for intake and we just can't bring in any more as we have to consider the work load of the staff while she is gone and the stress that they all take on with every new incoming pet.
In this time you can reach out to the many rescue groups in Winnipeg if needed we can help in getting the pets booked on flights out.
