🧠👀 Alberta Concussion Awareness Day | September 18
A concussion can affect more than just how you feel — it can also impact eye movements, reading speed, focus, balance, and visual processing.
At Tofield Eyecare, we offer King-Devick testing, a quick vision-based test that measures rapid number naming and eye movements. It can be used as one part of concussion assessment and monitoring.
Because your eyes and brain work closely together, changes in visual performance can provide important information following a suspected concussion.
🏒⚽🏈 Whether you’re an athlete, parent, coach, or simply want to learn more, Concussion Awareness Day is a great reminder to recognize the signs, take symptoms seriously, and protect your brain health.
📞 Contact Tofield Eyecare to learn more about King-Devick testing.
