Dolly Parton was a legend in both music and philanthropy. With over 3000 songs written, over 300 million free books delivered to children around the world, as well as ongoing support for both disaster relief and healthcare, Dolly has touched an unfathomable number of lives.
Thank you Dolly for all you've done.
With love and admiration,
TNL
On July 4th, 2014, we sang this song in front of about 5000 people, mostly Americans, who joyously received it in the playful way it was intended.
Amid all the tension around tariffs and trade wars, we're putting this out here hoping it's received in the same way, and look forward to a day when all of this is behind us.

After a short summer break, rehearsals will be back on Aug 24th! We're pumped - lots of exciting things planned for the rest of the year and ongoing - stay tuned!
Here's our performance of "I Want You To Want Me" - our closer for our spring show.

TNL is saddened to have lost one of our originals this past week. Bob Gibson was a TNL legend. A mainstay in the tenor section, and one of the drivers of the spirit and culture of the chorus. His resume is beyond impressive:
4x District Quartet Champion
1x District Seniors Quartet Champion
2x International Seniors Champion
3x International Chorus Champion
Plus countless other top five finishes with the Dukes of Harmony and TNL.
He is also was involved in a revolutionary approach to performance that was introduced in the early 2000s (when TNL was having a little fun behind the scenes at International).
We'll miss you Bobby. We'll raise the chalice in your honour.

Wowowow! Huge congratulations to all the fantastic quartets and choruses at the Barbershop Harmony Society's International Convention in St. Louis this weekend - every year it gets better and better! The dedication and preparation that every singer that crossed the stage displayed was clear.
Special congratulations to GQ for their stunning set and history-making win in the quartet contest and to Ambassadors of Harmony for taking the gold in the chorus contest!
Also shoutout to Ontario's own, The 'Loo-Wops for their performance in the Next Generation Varsity Quartet Contest and for representing our nation on Canada Day by singing our national anthem to a packed international audience - we and all of the district are so proud of you and your achievements!
In My Life by The Beatles. This song features the individual voices of Ontario District's Varsity Reps - The 'Loo-Wops ! We're so happy to have the chance to sing with them before they went off to compete in St. Louis this year.

Lullabye (2/2) by Billy Joel. Difficult song to get through without breaking for many of us on the risers but it remains one of our favourites to sing.
