Stop Ecocide Toronto

Share

We are the Toronto branch of Stop Ecocide Canada. We advocate to make 'ecocide' a 5th international crime. We meet bi-weekly over zoom, on Sundays at 3pm.

Ecocide is the severe and either widespread or long-term damage or destruction of ecosystems. Feel free to email [email protected] for the Zoom link.

Hi everyone!

A quick update from our end:

We are now in the last week of our e-petition campaign to the federal government.

https://www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/en/Petition/Details?Petition=e-4854

In March, we launched official e-petition to the Canadian government, asking them to support making ecocide an international crime at the International Criminal Court. We have until May 7th (only a few more days!) to get as many signatures as possible.

Folks can SIGN the e-petition at the link here! https://www.ourcommons.ca/petitions/en/Petition/Sign/e-4854

Help us show the federal government that there is strong support for urgent action to protect the planet!
