It’s kinda chic that… 🌸

Apparently I have a few things to say about myself 😂

Some are flower-related.
Some are life-related.
One involves a very tall son. 😂
And one is a pretty big reason I still believe flowers can be magic.

So… here we go. 🫶🏼

This is me. This is FERN. And these are a few of the things that make me, well… me. 🩷🌿

Sometimes I have an extra special bouquet with incredible colours, but the natural light isn’t always great in the shop. So the photo falls a little flat. Sigh.

But this one deserves to be shared anyway 🥹

The prettiest creamy blush garden rose paired with clementine marigolds, peach stock and a pop of lavender delphinium. Oh my 🍊🍇

This was an online order placed all the way from Ukraine for someone special here in Toronto 💛🩵

And then I battled Toronto traffic to deliver it 🤦🏼‍♀️

Google Maps said 32 minutes.
Toronto, the Jays game and TIFF traffic said 2 hours and 55 minutes. 😭😂

Oh and this music - It’s def a vibe that I required while stuck in Lakeshore Blvd gridlock 💃😂

Worth it.

Sometimes we receive more than one bouquet order for the same recipient. 🌸

And while that’s always a lovely surprise, there’s one thing we never do: make the same bouquet twice.

We’ll choose completely different blooms, colours and textures for each order, so each bouquet feels like its own special gift.

Because flowers should feel personal - not copy and paste. 🌿

Someone’s day is about to get a whole lot brighter 🌞

Her husband and daughter stopped by the shop to order this birthday bouquet for her 💛

I love being part of these little moments 🥹🌼

A little wild. A little moody. A lot of local.

August bounty, in all its glorious abundance 🍑🌸🌞🍇🩶

The marigolds and mountain mint have my heart. 🥹

But so do the cosmos, the zinnias, lisianthus. And… basically all of it. 😂

August is pretty amazing for flowers.

The fields are bursting. The colours are ridiculous. The textures are abundant. And every time I pick up another locally grown bunch, I find something else I want to put into everything.

Peak season is here.

And while I’m soaking up every incredible, flower-filled minute of it, I know the end of the growing season is quietly creeping closer.

So I brought a little piece of August back to the shop and I’m going to enjoy the heck out of it.
