There was a time when I thought being busy meant I was making progress.

My calendar was full.
My to-do list was never-ending.
I always had something to work on.

But at the end of the week, I couldn’t honestly say I was any closer to where I wanted to be.

That’s the danger of not having a clear destination.

When you don’t know where you’re going, every task feels important.
Every opportunity feels exciting.
Every idea feels worth chasing.

Until one day you realize you’ve been moving constantly, but not necessarily moving forward.

Being busy and making progress aren’t the same thing.

The question isn’t:

“What should I do next?”

The question is:

“Does this get me closer to where I want to go?”
