Thanks to your support we have been able to make WAVES against the deregulation of Acu & TCM in Ontario! Bill 88 will now be reviewed by the Social Policy Committee. This is great, but we must keep fighting until Section 5 is REMOVED from Bill 88!
WE STILL NEED YOUR HELP! We must keep the pressure on the Ford government to protect the health & safety of Ontarians. WAVES are great, but we need to FLOOD our MPPs and Ford with our concerns over Section 5 of this bill!
Deregulation of Acu & TCM would push the status of our profession back 30 years. It would negatively impact the health & safety of patients and reduce the accessibility, affordability, and quality of TCM & Acupuncture in Ontario. Not only would this bill be detrimental for THOUSANDS of small businesses in Ontario, but Acupuncture would lose its HST-exemption status across Canada.
Our Change.org petition has received almost 37.000 signatures in less 1 week!! Amazing! Keep spreading the word and sharing the link WORLD-WIDE (signatures are not restricted to Ontario residents). With your help we can keep the momentum going to reach 50,000, or better yet, 100,000 signatures!!!
