Something’s shifting in the content sphere right now, and it’s not what most brands expect.

The brands winning attention lately aren’t leaning harder into studio polish. Brands are leaning into lofi, iPhone-shot, Creator-led content that doesn’t look like it came from the brand at all.

Creators are becoming the reason certain brands are earning trust faster than anything a brand could post natively. A creator already has the niche, a community, and the credibility all built in. When that’s done right, it does more for a brand than another polished studio post ever could.

We’ve spent time on both sides of that relationship and we know there’s a real gap for brands who don’t have the time, team, or systems to manage Creator relationships, but want to dive into the benefits it can bring their online community.

So, we’re officially opening up UGC and Creator Program Management for a select group of clients.

If that’s a conversation you want to have, our inbox is open.

Turns out “we’re off the grid” and “we’re not working” are two very different statements.

This month, we spent some time away in the Azores soaking in the scenery (promise), but somewhere between hikes and long lunches we also found ourselves shooting spec content for Terras de Lava (Cooperativa Vitivinícola da Ilha do Pico) and Cabriz w**es (Cabriz), because apparently even on vacation we can’t help but look at a good glass of w**e and think “that’s a shot.” 🤪

We’re taking some time away from Instagram over the next couple of weeks, but we wanted to keep you updated before we go.

We’re heading into one of our busiest stretches yet, and couldn’t be more excited about it. Our calendar is packed with incredible food, beverage, CPG and retail brands we can’t wait to dig into, and we’re constantly grateful this is what we get to do for a living.

We’re booked through to November, and we’ve just opened up December and January for new projects. If you’ve got something brewing for the new year, this is your sign to reach out before those spots fill.

Can’t wait to share what’s coming!!!

August, I don’t even know where to start, so here’s my rant:

This has genuinely been one of the fullest months we’ve had at Graze, and also one of the hardest. Not necessarily because the work itself was hard, but because it kept holding up a mirror to everything I still need to work on in myself.

We’ve been a team of two for a long time. Taking on this much, this well, isn’t sustainable if I keep trying to do it all myself. And I know that. Hiring help is the obvious next step. But it’s also scary, the way any change is when you’ve spent most of your career figuring things out solo.

That’s the lesson I keep having to relearn: asking for help isn’t a failure of capability, it’s what lets the work stay this good.

So yes, August was a lot (scroll for receipts). It was also one of the best months we’ve had, and we’re not slowing down.

🚨‼️ Stay tuned, a new role at Graze is opening and we’ve got more UGC, creator, and modelling opportunities coming as we head into our busiest stretch of the year.

If any of this if of interest to you, don’t wait around. We’re genuinely swamped right now, so the fastest way onto our radar is showing up in our inbox and saying so.

Signed,
Need a nap + some time OOO. 🌴

We’re looking for creators & models! 👀

We work with food, beverage, and CPG brands across Canada and are building a roster of UGC creators, influencers, and models to collaborate with on upcoming client projects.

All ages, genders, backgrounds and experience levels are welcome, from starting out to fully established.

You don’t need to have a huge following! You just need to be reliable, comfortable on camera, have a talent for creating content and are genuinely excited to bring a brand’s vision to life.

Right now we’re growing our network in Ontario, BC, and Alberta, though we’d love to hear from creators anywhere in Canada.

If that’s YOU, the link to apply is in our bio.

Excited to connect! 💌

🍰 Cake texture appreciation post. Which one is your favourite?

For me, it’s a toss-up between pistachio (1st one) for the colour palette, tiramisu cake (4th) for the texture and the last one for the layers. 🤤

3 CONTENT IDEAS FOR BAKERIES (that actually bring customers through the door)

If your bakery’s Instagram isn’t getting the attention it deserves, it’s likely not because your product isn’t good. The problem is almost always the content strategy sitting on top of it.

If we ran your account, here’s where we’d start:

1. Show the “how it’s made,” not just the finished product.

In a world where any business can generate a fake photo of a croissant, “real” is the thing people are actually craving. Show the lamination, the hands piping filling, the tray going into the oven, then the final product. The process is what makes people trust it’s actually handmade, and trust is what gets them in the door.

2. Build Reels around what people are already searching for.

What’s your bakery actually known for? What city are you in? What do people come in for, and how do you want them to feel when they do? Build content around specific, searchable phrases, “best cafe for a work date in [your city],” “best butter tarts in [your region],” “bakery with a patio near me.” When your Reel visually delivers on what your caption promises, people don’t just watch it, they share it with the friend they’re already planning to meet up with. That’s how a search turns into a reservation.

3. Make your best sellers limited, on purpose.

Scarcity is a genuine growth lever, not a gimmick. If something’s available every day forever, there’s no reason to come in this week. Turn a best-seller into a limited-time item, or test a new flavour for a short window, then tell your community about it. A deadline is what turns “I should try that sometime” into “I’m going this weekend.”

🔖 Save this for your next content planning session!

And if you’d rather have a content strategist build this out for you instead of guessing, that’s exactly what we do.

You can post every single day and still get crickets.

Because here’s the part nobody tells you: posting isn’t the same as showing up.

The brands with a real following aren’t just posting, they’re commenting on other accounts, showing up in their industry, replying to their own comments, engaging with the culture their customers actually care about.

Community isn’t a content pillar you check off.

It’s the whole game.

If your engagement has been flat, this might be why.

08/06/2026

Nobody warns you about the parts that have nothing to do with the creative work.

The systems. The contracts. The boundaries you have to learn to hold the hard way. The mistakes, the failures, the lessons that only come from getting it wrong first.

I’ve had a few of those this year already. And I’m still grateful to be building this, growing pains and all.

There’s a fine line you walk when you’re trying to make a living off something that’s this tied to who you are. It shines a spotlight on every part of yourself you still need to work on.

Some days I genuinely can’t tell: am I growing a business, or is the business growing me?

I’m not sure this makes complete sense, but if any of it lands, tell me in the comments.

08/04/2026

Some days we still can’t believe this is the job: we get to play with food for a living.

To chase the shot that’s been living in our heads for weeks.

To try six different ideas until we finally land on one that works.

And we do it all for brands we genuinely love, which is the icing on the croissant (pun very much intended).

I think that’s the real case for working with a creative studio instead of just filling a content calendar: your brand stops blending into everyone else’s feed.

Because yes, we’re marketers. We’re strategists. But underneath that, we’re artists, and in a time where so much content is starting to look identical, that’s not a small thing.

That’s the whole difference.

The thing is: art doesn’t come from copying a trend, it comes from actually playing until you find the thing only you could have made.

So if your brand is ready to look like itself again, not like a copy of something else, that’s exactly the kind of work we exist for. And if you have a project in mind, we’d love to hear it.
