Simpson Built Homes

Another day, another level. 🔨🏠

Up on the scaffold getting this Hardie siding dialed in for our friends Jeffrey Harvey. Cean lines, proper spacing, and every detail done right. Whether it’s finish carpentry, flooring, or exterior work, the standard stays the same: crafted to outlast, built to impress. 💪

Same precision. Different side of the wall. 👌🏻🔨

For free?? Brother, that ghost is about to learn a trade. 👻🔨

By day two she’s holding material.
By Friday she’s cutting panels.
By payday she’s asking why I haven’t sent invoice #1175.

Clean lines. Tight joints. Built to last. 🔨

This one is coming together beautifully with Mercier 4 1/4” Solid White Oak flooring we are installing for our friends at Taylor James Building. Every board is carefully selected, every joint is tight, and every detail is installed with precision. Quality isn’t rushed—it’s crafted. 👌

As this project moves forward, the finish carpentry will bring everything together with clean lines, crisp mitres, and seamless transitions that make a home feel truly custom. That’s where craftsmanship separates itself from ordinary work. 🎯

If you’re building, renovating, or looking to elevate your home with premium hardwood flooring, custom trim, doors, wainscoting, feature walls, or complete finish carpentry, let’s create something built to last and impossible to ignore.

🚨 Construction Pet Peeve 🚨

Nothing drives me crazier than seeing finish carpenters rip trim on a table saw, leave the blade marks, and install it as if it’s “good enough.”

That’s not finish carpentry—that’s rushing the job.

Every saw cut should be inspected, and when needed, sanded smooth before installation and finishing. Those tiny blade marks don’t disappear under paint or stain—they often become even more noticeable once the finish goes on. A little extra time in preparation is what separates an average job from a premium one.

At Simpson Built, we believe the details matter. We don’t cut corners because our name is attached to every project we complete. Clean cuts, smooth surfaces, tight mitres, flawless joints, and a finish we’re proud to stand behind. 💪🪵✨

If you’re hiring a finish carpenter, don’t just look at the final photo—look closely at the craftsmanship. The details tell the real story. 👀🏡

✨ Craftsmanship is in the details. ✨🌲

This three-season room is more than just cedar, it’s a showcase of custom finish carpentry. Every British Columbia cedar tongue-and-groove board was carefully installed to create clean, seamless lines across the ceiling, while the custom framed herringbone feature panels add a one-of-a-kind focal point that turns the walls into artwork. 🔨🎨

From perfectly aligned joints to intricate pattern work, projects like this are where true craftsmanship shines. We don’t just install materials—we create custom spaces built with precision, patience, and pride that will be enjoyed for years to come. If you’re looking for premium finish carpentry that stands apart from the rest, let’s build something exceptional together. 🏡💪
