Some photos from our amazing 2026 encampment program and our very first winter culture camp in early 2026.

We are so honoured for our amazing funders and partners who give us the opportunity to continue out carrying such amazing programs and event events for the community. 2026 was truly an amazing year for TISP‘s programming, and we couldn’t appreciate our community, thunders, partners, and staff more than we do now. We appreciate everyone sticking with us during our amazing journey of growth and becoming what TISP is today!

we’d like to thank our funders for allowing us to continue carrying out our encampment program for the past few years, allowing TISP the opportunity to help with a very vulnerable community within the city.

We’d also like to think the helix foundation for funding our very first winterized culture camp, it was truly a blast, and we hope to be able to provide the community with another opportunity
for a winter culture camp!

DM, visit our website or email us for programming, an event opportunities, or to get involved and volunteer!

Our 2025 encampment and food sovereignty program was an absolute hit and huge success. We’d like to thank our partners and sponsors for allowing us to continue doing such good & healing work.

In 2025 we were able to hand out 350 backpacks and 200 to 250 hot meals. This program primarily runs during the colder winter months, allowing TISP to help relieve some much needed pressure on those who unfortunately do not have a warm place for the winter.

This program has been an operation for a few years and we are truly grateful to be able to continue this work and expand on all programs that we’ve done in the past few years.

Chii- Miigwetch to you all and we hope you will continue liking, commenting, and supporting all the great work that TISP does!

Miigwech!
TISP Team!
🖤❤️💛🤍

Today is about honouring the strength and resilience of Indigenous communities. We remember all the children taken from their families and the impact of residential schools. Show your support by wearing orange on Orange Shirt Day 🧡! Today and always, Every Child Matters. ”
