Today, we're rooting for Africa as Senegal takes on France. Beyond the game, weโre honoring the shared history, complex connections, and resilience that shaped Senegalese culinary traditions ๐ธ๐ณ
Food is a bridge. Looking back at this special workshop, Chef Rachel Adjei taught newcomers from Eva's Initiatives the art of Senegalese cookingโfrom savory Thieboudienne, saladu nebbe, and poulet yassa, to a twist on a classic chocolate mousse infused with cafรฉ touba
Every dish has a story, and we love teaching the rich nuances behind what we eat.
โจ Bring our bilingual (EN/FR) cooking workshops to your corporate team, community group, or school. Let's cook together! Tap the link in our bio to learn more.

Huge thanks again to for bringing me in to help create this amazing experience celebrating Africans.
Any opportunity to honour being an African Black Female chef is highly valued. I get to story tell through food and hopefully inspire the next generations of chefs who look like me and may not see their cultural foods as a viable path. Let us create space at our own table.
Authenticity and passion are the best seasonings. ๐ซถ๐พ
If you missed us, stay tuned for your next opportunity to try our regional diasporic African inspired foods.
Until next time,
Chef/ Educator and creator of The Abibiman Project Rachel Adjei
