Simona is speaking at Empowered Podcasting Conference 3, and we think you should be there too.
EPC3 is happening August 21 through 23 in Charlotte, North Carolina. More than 25 speakers. Four interactive workshops. Three panels. And the kind of intimate, in-person energy that a virtual summit simply cannot replicate.
This is a conference built for podcasters who are done learning in isolation and ready to be in a room with people who take their show as seriously as they do.
And every ticket purchase enters you into a raffle for a Shure MV7+ Microphone, a $329 retail value: a reason to show up and a reason to upgrade your setup, all in one.
Get your tickets below, spots are limited. We would love to meet you there.ππ»

Kristin Collins came to VOLT with a message worth hearing and a podcast ready to be born.
She is the host of Eat the F*cking Food, a show built for midlife women who are done being at war with food and their bodies. Her voice is honest, direct, and exactly what her audience needed someone to say out loud.
What she needed from us was simple: handle the technical side so she could stay fully in her message.
That is what we did.
Kristin walked away with an amazing launch and the freedom to focus on the creative work that only she could do. That is what done-for-you production is supposed to feel like.
Your message deserves to be heard. We will handle everything else.
ππ» Save this if you are still waiting to launch your show.

Halfway through the year and not sure if your podcast is actually growing?
Here is where most podcasters get stuck: they are tracking total downloads and subscriber counts because those are the numbers that are easiest to see. But those numbers do not predict growth, and they do not tell you whether your show is working for your business.
The numbers that do matter are completion rate, week-over-week download trends, listener retention by episode, and the actions your audience is taking after they listen.
Here is a quick reality check on completion rates by format:
β‘οΈ Interview shows should sit between 40 and 60 percent.
β‘οΈ Solo or educational shows sit between 50 and 70 percent.
β‘οΈ Below 30 percent means your content is not resonating. Above 60 percent means you are doing something right.
Mid-year is the right moment to stop chasing vanity metrics and start reading the numbers that actually tell you something.

A client came to VOLT after months with another production agency.
On the surface, the show was running. Episodes were going out. The calendar was being kept.
But underneath that, 4 things were quietly working against everything the show was supposed to build.
π© The client was being charged separately for the editing software the agency used to produce the show.
π© The podcast shared a name with another show already in the directories, splitting search traffic while no one said a word.
π© There was no video content, no YouTube channel, and no short-form presence in 2026, when YouTube is one of the largest podcast discovery platforms in the world.
π© In all those months of working together, not one strategic conversation had taken place about titles, growth, repurposing, or how the show connected to actual business goals.
A podcast that is just being maintained is not a podcast that is growing.
If this resonates, it might be worth asking harder questions about what your production partnership is actually built to do.
Practicing for the Netflix documentary about how a podcast with 200 listeners generated more revenue than an Instagram account with 20,000 followers.
No notes. No regrets.
Podcasting is the most trusted media format in the world for a reason. And if you have a show, your audience is already deciding whether they trust you enough to hire you, every single episode.
That is not pressure. That is the opportunity.
ππ» Tell us the podcast you are currently obsessed with. We read every comment.
This Thursday at 10 am EST, the Podcast Success Vault is getting a very special guest.
Sean Douglas, 3x TEDx speaker, 2x bestselling author, U.S. Air Force veteran, and one of the most engaging educators working today, is coming into the Vault to teach a live workshop called Claim Your Category.
Here is what the session covers: how to define the category your podcast belongs in, how to position your show so the right people can find it, and how to show up in your market as the clear, obvious choice.
Most podcasters are not struggling because their content is bad. They are struggling because no one has helped them get clear on where they fit and why that matters for growth.
This is happening inside the Podcast Success Vault, our $77/month membership for podcasters who are ready to build a show that grows. Join before Thursday and come learn from Sean live.
If you have been waiting for the right moment to join, this is it.
Get inside before Thursday. ππ»

Your podcast isn't just a show. It's a brand. And the ones that grow know the difference. β‘
Look at the podcasts dominating right now.
Crime Ju**ie didn't become one of the most listened-to podcasts in America with 9 million monthly listeners by accident. The name, the format, the tone, the visual identity: all of it is immediately recognizable. You know exactly what you're getting before you hit play.
The Diary of a CEO didn't just build a top podcast. Steven Bartlett built brand equity that redefined what a podcast could be in the digital era, turning his show into a company now valued at $425 million. The logo, the aesthetic, the positioning: it's a brand universe, not just a feed of episodes.
Call Her Daddy. On Purpose. SmartLess. The shows at the top aren't winning on content alone. They're winning because every touchpoint, the cover art, the social clips, the tone, the colours, the language, feels like the same world.
That's what a brand does for a podcast.
And here's the truth most people launching shows miss: consistent brands are 3.5 times more likely to have better brand visibility, and brands that commit to long-term consistency see 2x the profit gains compared to those that keep switching things up.
Your podcast deserves that kind of foundation.
Not just great audio. A great brand.
π€ If you're ready to build both, you know where to find us.
You can hire the cheapest podcast production agency you can find.
You can also buy sushi from the gas station.
We would not recommend either.
Your podcast is a business asset. The partner you choose to build it with matters.
ππ» Drop your biggest green flag when vetting a podcast production company. We will go first: they should be talking about your growth before you ever ask.
You have been showing up consistently, publishing every week, putting in the work.
And yet the right people still cannot find you. That is not a content problem. That is a discoverability problem.
There is a real difference between publishing episodes and building a discovery system, and it usually comes down to five things:
β‘οΈ How the title is written
β‘οΈ Whether the thumbnail opens a loop instead of repeating it
β‘οΈ How well the description functions as a searchable piece of content on its own
β‘οΈ Whether the episode fits inside a clear topical cluster
β‘οΈ Whether the delivery sounds like a real human being with something worth saying.
VOLT runs this audit on every episode we produce for clients. Not because the checklist is magic, but because discoverability is a system, and systems require consistency.
Run it on your next episode. If you can answer yes to all five, you are not just posting. You are building something that compounds.
