In 1966 one artist convinced an entire island not to build anything ugly and im enthralled with this whole thing. The design rules came about as a partnership between local artist Cesar Manrique and the government to ensure the island grows in a way that is both aesthetic and environmental. You will find a large hotel or two, which resulted in jail time for the politicians who approved development outside of the planning laws. Can we get this in Toronto half these condos hurt my eyes.

3 places to check out in Hamilton if you love everything vintage! Summer road trip season is back and it’s my second summer with the Michelin Primacy All Season Tires. The ride is extra smooth and quiet thanks for their acoustic technology. Can’t recommend enough if you drive an EV where road noise is so prominent without any engine sound. Their entire lineup is EV-compatible and even help extend your range, which means fewer stops and more shopping time. *Ad
outdoor gear just landed at select stores and the prices are so good! I found tents starting at $79.99 that I’ve seen for way more elsewhere, plus brand name hiking backpacks starting at $59.99. Ended up grabbing a jacket, sunglasses, and a water bottle too. If you’re planning any camping or summer adventures, it’s definitely worth checking out before everything sells out. I went to the Marshalls Heartland location at 905 Britannia Rd W in Mississauga.
