Due to poor air quality, racing is cancelled today (Thursday, July 16) at Woodbine Racetrack.

For the safety of our horses and staff we will not be training today, keeping the intake of smoke from the wildfires to a minimum.

The enhancements are made possible through the additional $35 million in annual funding for Ontario’s horse racing industry announced in late June.

Check it out in the comments.

Although it wasn't a win... W***y Styles ran a great 3rd in his first career start!

We are so proud of this guy. It's taken him a long time to figure out how to be a racehorse, and he put it all together! Fraser Aebly navigated to the field perfectly.

Congratulations to his groom Misty and all her hard work.
