Well… this feels pretty special!
My first art exhibition.
There was a time when I painted simply because I loved it. A beautiful landscape, an interesting shadow, a particular quality of light—and I would want to capture it in watercolour.
I never really imagined those paintings would one day be hanging together in a gallery.
Standing here and looking at them as a collection, I realize they represent much more than individual paintings. They represent places I’ve travelled, moments I’ve noticed, and my ongoing fascination with the incredible beauty of this country.
I’m incredibly proud of this little milestone—and very grateful to everyone who has encouraged me, purchased my work, followed along, or simply told me to keep painting.
My first exhibition. And hopefully the beginning of something even bigger. ❤️

From Photograph to Paint
Some photographs stay with you. This beautiful image by Helen E. Grose was one for me and inspired me to paint the rugged Canadian Shield, quiet water and glowing evening light through my own eyes and brush.
Thank you, Helen, for the inspiration and for allowing your photograph to become the starting point for this watercolour. ❤️

Apparently, this is what happens when you give an artist too many paintbrushes and no adult supervision. 😂🎨 .

Sometimes the best destination is simply seeing where the path takes you. 👩🎨

A little piece of Newfoundland captured in watercolour — rugged coastline, soft light, and a touch of mystery! That’s what I was trying to capture with this one.👩🎨 .

Hidden among the grasses, a puffin pauses for just a moment before returning to the sea.
I hope this painting brings a little piece of the coast into your home. ❤️

Some mountains stay with you long after you leave them.
This one in Yoho National Park felt almost impossible to paint at first — all those fractured rock faces, snow lines, and shifting light. But that challenge is exactly what drew me in.👩🎨.
