If Getting out of bed today wasn’t ‘nothing. Let me remind you that It was everything for someone else.

And If you showed up today even barely, that counts as well.

When was the last time you let yourself cry without saying sorry? Tell me below. 👇

It’s not a coincidence. It’s a wound.

The people who needed the most love as children are often the ones who learned to shrink, over-explain, and apologize just for having needs because somewhere along the way, asking for love came with a cost.

Meanwhile, the ones who should’ve shown up better moved on like nothing happened.

Healing starts with unlearning that your needs were ever “too much.”

Real self-love isn’t soft, it’s SEATED. It’s the eye contact. The ‘no.’ The willingness to disappoint someone rather than abandon yourself 🫀

Most people never get there, not from lack of desire, but because somewhere they learned their comfort mattered less than everyone else’s approval.

Where did YOU learn that? Comment below 👇

Before you say “we’re just not compatible” read this. 👇

Every relationship goes through stages and most people quit during the hardest one. 👇

✨ The Honeymoon → everything feels electric. You’re drawn in by excitement, passion and the thrill of someone new. Long-term reality hasn’t set in yet.

💕 The Rose-Colored Stage → you still see the best in each other. Emotional bonds deepen but the cracks, wounds and patterns haven’t fully surfaced yet.

⚡ The Power Struggle → suddenly everything irritates you. Old hurts get triggered. Walls go up. This is where most couples whisper “maybe we’re just not meant to be.”

🩹 Acceptance & Healing → you stop trying to fix each other and start truly seeing each other. Love becomes a choice, not just a feeling.

👫 The Second Crisis → life gets heavy again. Work, kids, stress, change. The relationship is tested once more, this time asking if you’ll still choose each other without the illusions.

🤍 Mature Love → you see each other fully, the flaws, scars and all and you stay. This is where real, lasting love lives.

Every couple moves through these stages differently. Not everyone makes it to the end not because they weren’t right for each other, but because nobody told them what was coming.

Most couples don’t have a compatibility problem. They have a communication and healing problem.

The moment things get hard, uncomfortable or unfamiliar, our nervous system tells us to run. But difficulty in a relationship doesn’t always mean it’s wrong. Sometimes it means you’re both being invited to grow.

The Power Struggle stage is the most misunderstood phase in relationships. It’s where most couples give up right before the breakthrough.

You don’t need a perfect partner. You need a willing one.

So what stage are you working on now. Comment below 👇

Healing cannot and will never be instant, sometimes it shows up quietly, in a tear you didn’t expect or a smile that surprised you. Trust the process. Trust your body. Trust this moment.

You are not broken. You are only becoming.

This connects to a trauma response called fawning which is the pattern of over-giving, people-pleasing, and prioritising others as a way to feel safe or avoid conflict.

It usually develops in childhood as a survival strategy. Fawning doesn’t mean you were weak. It means you adapted. Now, The work is in learning that you are safe enough now to have boundaries and that the right people won’t require you to abandon yourself to stay.
