Due to the constant unavailability of finding swim wear that would adhere to both their body types, Lauren began sewing bathing suits for both herself and Danielle in order to meet the needs of both women. After having a high school dream of becoming business partners, their dream became a reality as they began working with their manufacturer to create Formula Sea Swim in April of 2021. They launched the brand Formula Sea Swim in the summer of 2021 out of Oakville, Ontario. Lauren and Danielle’s goal is to take the objectification out of swimwear. Both women believe that suiting up in a swimsuit should be an experience that brings out comfort and confidence. Their beliefs resulted in curating a swimwear formula based on strength, empowerment and authenticity leading to their name Formula Sea Swim.
