Migrants refused to be pushed out.

On September 20, migrants and allies across Canada took action for status for all, automatic permit renewal, an end to employer-tied exploitation, and an end to deportations and family separation.

They stood against efforts to blame migrants for Canada’s housing, wage, and public-service crises. Workers demanded rights, safety, and dignity—no matter where they were born.

Every worker deserves a safe workplace.

Recent workplace accidents across the Philippines highlight the urgent need for stronger occupational safety and health (OSH) standards, better enforcement, proper PPE, and real accountability. Workers' lives and dignity must always come first.

Did you know the PUV Modernization Program is pushing thousands of jeepney drivers out of their livelihoods?

What is presented as “modernization” is an anti-poor policy that burdens drivers with debt, forces them to surrender control of their livelihood, and opens public transportation to corporate takeover.

The fight against jeepney phase-out is a fight to defend drivers’ livelihoods and demand a public transport system that prioritizes the needs of commuters and workers over corporate profit and foreign interests.

Stand with jeepney drivers in the struggle for a progressive, national, and mass-oriented public transportation system.
