A custom stair runner developed in collaboration with designer Colin Doneff (id-One Inc.).

Colin came to us with a clear look in mind, and our team helped refine the concept into a custom design made from New Zealand wool. From the initial idea through CAD development and final installation, every detail was considered for the space.

In collaboration with Barb Purdy, we created a custom hallway runner in 100% jute, woven in a pattern developed specifically for the space.

The natural fibre and structured weave reference the grounded character of traditional Victorian Gothic Revival flooring, while giving the project a pattern developed specifically for the space.

Jute offers rich texture and a strong natural appearance, but it requires careful specification. Once stained, it can be difficult to maintain, making placement, performance expectations and client education essential.

For a full-home remodel in Toronto’s Riverdale neighbourhood, Rebecca Hay transformed a dated property into a functional, layered home that remained connected to the character of the area.

In the formal living room, she introduced a darker, moodier palette to create a space that feels comfortable, elevated and intentional.

Studio 321B supported Rebecca’s vision with a custom-cut broadloom carpet that anchored the room, reinforced the darker palette and brought balance to the overall composition.
