Yesterday, I wrapped up this mural at Scott Mission Camp in celebration of their new pool. We wanted to create a gift that will bring joy to so many kids in the summers ahead.

As an immigrant kid, The Scott Mission became a place where I found community and belonging, and where I first came to know God in a personal way.

Inspired by the transformation of a caterpillar into a butterfly, this mural celebrates renewal, growth and purpose, reflecting the many lives shaped by this community.

A symbol of celebration that requires an act of violence to break it open. What happens when there’s nothing left inside?

The piΓ±ata was used as a metaphor for systems we exist in. I wrote a short reflection piece on remembering and the fragility of nations. Thinking about our ideals of homeland, the realities, immigration and memory.

2023 Miami Art Week

This piece draws from the Abloh Invitational during Miami Art Week where skateboarding, art and culture intersect. The scene captures skaters in a bowl reaching for money falling from above. Skate culture and art culture move in the same way: built on grit, risk, repetition and the willingness to keep going without guarantees. Nothing good comes easy.

Artist Project 2026

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, and took the time to experience the work and share your stories.

This booth came together through the support of many people behind the scenes. Thank you to my peers, collaborators, collectors, the judges and community who continue to show up, offer feedback, and support the work in real ways.

I worked with , whose creative and brand strategy brought a cohesive narrative to how the work was positioned, communicated, and experienced leading up to and throughout the fair.

It takes a village to make real impact.

And that’s a wrap!! 🎈
