Tournament weekend in Toronto felt like one big reunion. Ran into a couple Jr Red Wings 2016 teammates and our team had a mix of Brick 🧱 kids from Detroit (me), Toronto (Bulldogs, Pro Hockey), and Montreal (Canadiens), plus my Ontario High Performance Hockey Club teammates that I haven't seen in almost a year...the mix made the whole weekend feel awesome. Getting to see my OHP again was one of my most favorite parts.
We had new faces too, and finding chemistry with everyone — old friends, former Brick rivals, and new teammates — made every game feel like something new.
We made it to the finals but gotta hand the props and congrats over to Paramount 🙌— super strong team with a lot of my Brick buddies as well.

Rivals. Teammates. Friends. is never far away.

travel wears me out, but running into my buddy natedawg Nate always makes the miles worth it. Love ya, bro 🤜🤛

...aaaand I'm back in . Hello again,

The last moment of The 2026 Brick tournament 🧱🏒🥅, the last beat of an unreal week-and-a-half, and the tradition everyone looks forward to - the jersey swap.

I traded jerseys with my guy Rylan Vankos — he rocked this week with the , but we became friends during our run together with Ontario High Performance Hockey Club and Pro Hockey Development Group.

And I swapped hats with my hockey brother 🇵🇭, Logan “Victorioso” McGregor, who showed out with ws_brick2026 this week… but we go way back as former teammates on Western Selects Hockey and Jr. Kings Hockey before my move to MI last year. He gave me a little bit of the West Coast and old times to take back to , and I gave him a little bit of to take home to California 🌴.  It's wild how this tournament brought so many of us back full circle to our roots.
