UPDATE! Well Edmund Stay will no longer be sharing the night with us but his alter-ego Chris Chin will be instead! Pat and I are backing him for at least some of the tunes. I for one am stoked!

Anyways, we’re excited to share something new we’ve been cooking up. It’s called,
~the electric string~

Blues, psych, and garage rock covers with original jams thrown in the mix, featuring Roy Charlie Weare jordan sosensky and me. Soon to be the most acid-fried bar band in town. First gig’s Tuesday, July 14th at Grossman's Tavern We’ll do two sets with Chris chin sandwiched in the middle and tegan on the decks.

Though these sets will certainly be fuzz guitar heavy, the name “The Electric String” is as much a reference to that as it is a play on String Theory - the notion that vibrating strings are the most fundamental objects shaping our reality. In other words, this isn’t a string-purist project, other instruments will appear eventually.

Until then!

In other words, this is about more than just string instruments - perhaps you’ll hear an organist in this band someday :)

Come find out, Tuesday July 14th from 8PM-midnight-ish ✌️

Well I’m back in Toronto after truly having the best time on my trip out to Massachusetts. Massive thank you to and the West Mass/Boston folks who were all so kind. Feel very lucky to have connected with so many amazing musicians and great people.

Ooze Fest was a blast. Hopping in for the Tarp synth jam was a real highlight. The Mystra SSB CDs are in tho I’m almost out🥴

The Harvard Museum of Natural History was incredible. I ate a lot of food wrapped in newspaper. I bought too many records and books.

Thank you to for the first photo and for the video of me at the Annex Blues Society in Cambridge.

Cannot wait to come back in the future. Until next time✌️

Heading out tomorrow for a short run into the US!🤹🏻‍♂️
